Participating in a parent education program gives you the skills necessary adapt to your changing role as a parent.

The Parent Education program focuses on three main areas.

Why Parent Education?

Child Development

Child development information helps explain why and how children develop so you can have realistic expectations of your children, helping them build independence and reduce frustrations.

Caregiver Capacity Building

We can show you a variety of strategies to ensure you have tools in your toolbox to deal with whatever life throws at you.

Social Connections

By providing social connections and support, you are given the opportunity to connect with other families as well as to connect with other agencies in your community.

We offer Parent Education in many forms including group sessions, one-on-one and distance. Meetings can take place at our Center or in your home.

Triple P Parenting – Triple P Parenting strategies can help to take the guesswork out of how to get your children to do what you need them to do.
